Notes
- His full name is Kazimir Vasiliev-Byrne Izanydae. He mostly drops the hyphinated name and just goes by Kazimir, or Kazzy (if he really likes someone). He's a Russian mage and speaks with a fairly heavy accent, though it isn't heavy enough to impede understanding.
- He comes from a world where Masters and Servants are pacted for the Master's life, rather than just a war. Because of this, he's more casual and closer with Fuuma than most Masters expect.
- He's rather proper-spoken, being older, and comes off as eerily calm or disconnected to most people, seeing as he just laughs or shrugs off even horrible things most of the time. Despite this, he's quite a kind person, and tends towards acts of kindness for kindness' sake, finding that more fun and enjoyable than just being cruel or nasty. Even so, while he is at least friendly to most in general, he's never open to people unless he becomes very, very close to them.
- Despite the kindness in him, he's fairly amoral, and just shrugs at most laws or morals others have as he doesn't really see them as anything special. Morals and laws change so rapidly that something that was fine in his time is now horrifying in the modern day, so he doesn't care too much about upholding either unless it gets him something or matters to someone he cares about.
- While he can play up his appearance to amuse himself, the facade breaks whenever he's pat on the head. To him, doing so unwelcomed is an insult and demeaning, and he snaps and snarls whenever that happens. If he's trying to take advantage of his looks for a goal, he can swallow it, but only then.
- His appearance -- child-looking age, pointed ears, sharp teeth, sharp nails -- are a result of backfired/overused illusion magic. He's fully aware he looks like some random snot-nosed brat, and he's fully aware he looks like he's cosplaying something, but he can't help it. That's how he really looks.
- Kazimir is one of the Dead Apostles (basically a vampire, and called such) and exists on his own without any real desire to connect to others like him -- or turn others into more like him, partly because of the risk of betrayal and partly because he doesn't want people around he can't trust. He summoned Fuuma to act as his companion so he'd never be alone, because even he knew that solitude would drive one mad. Unfortunately, because of his ancient age, he's verged on insanity-via-meaninglessness before, but has come up with a way to combat that; mind-wiping. If he feels himself slipping, he'll wipe his mind of everything but a few things: his personality, most or all of his magical knowledge (depending on what he could relearn without risk), his knowledge about and love for Fuuma, and important things (such as knowing what he is and why he looks like he does). Everything else, even simple day to day skills like walking and eating, have to be relearned, and it allows him to "relive" a life and staves off the insanity for a few more centuries or so. When freshly wiped, the only word he knows how to form is Fuuma's name (either of them).
- He does feed off people/drink blood, but it doesn't pass infection or anything (like it would in canon). He also doesn't die instantly from sunlight or go into a coma during the day, but sunlight does burn like fire unless he's covered from it, with hoods, umbrellas, or what not.
- As a mage, he's incredibly powerful and has a lot of mana to spare. His most prized magical skill, however, comes from his eyes. Kazimir has Mystic Eyes that manifest in the jewel look/color of purple Alexandrite. Their power is "Enchantment", something that allows him to outright rewrite people's minds via hypnotisim, to the point that he could make them into whatever he wanted -- or make them do whatever he wanted. He generally doesn't use their full power unless he feels threatened, but he's petty enough to hypnotize someone into bringing him stuff without realizing it (such as making grumpy or unfriendly people bring him food or drink as they talk).
